Varsity Hall Dinner and Dance

Sylvan Lake's Varsity Hall dance palace was an icon of the beachfront for 50 years! Flocking to the summer resort town, Hallers danced the night away in the magical venue. Consider yourself invited to a very special dinner cruise aboard the S.S. Sylvan – The Love Boat, hosted at the Seniors Centre in the NexSource Centre. Enjoy a light meal, take in the live performance, and get up and dance!

Live entertainment provided by Gery Schubert – the man of 1000 voices!

Doors open at 5:15 PM. Dinner at 6:15 PM.

Dress for the occasion! Prizes for best dressed and other categories throughout the evening.

Use your super sleuth skills and head out to explore downtown on a clue solving adventure to decipher the mystery of "The Lost Regatta."

Using the Mystery Towns app as your guide, solve each riddle to find the next clue. It's a super fun way to engage with the town, its history, culture, and some secret spots you might have missed before.

Take breaks during the game to enjoy the food, shopping, views, and festivities along the way. Great for ages 10+ and adult groups. For extra fun, challenge a second group to a race against the clock!

It's all engines go at the Soap Box Derby! Bring your homemade soap box car and most aerodynamic helmet as you face off the headwind alongside fellow racers down the track. Soapbox cars will be available to try as well. Spectators can watch junior drivers put their creative, gravity-powered cars to the test! Sponsored by Stick it Welding and Bonefish Marine!

1913 Days Parade

Everyone loves a parade! Gather along the parade route to watch floats decked out from every decade. The parade begins at 43 Street, heading west down 47 Avenue, turning north on 50 Street, and east onto Lakeshore Drive ending at 44 Street. Bring your candy bag to collect goodies!

Calling all antiques treasure hunters! Head on down to the Vintage Market and Auction for a good ol' fashioned swap meet and artisan-made market. Celebrity auctioneer, Sheldon Smithers of Canadian Pickers will be on-site making appraisals and auctioning off items! Entry by donation to the food bank. Pre-registration is required to swap or vend.

Stop by for the Meet the Makers Outdoor Market in the yard at White Frog Cafe! Come and meet some of the talented makers who supply the White Frog Cafe gift shop in the historic Stone House with beautiful handmade local products. Vendors will have tables and tents set up where you can meet and speak with the makers. It's a wonderful place to pick up those one-of-a-kind items!

White Frog Cafe has also released their specialty Limited Edition 1913 bagged coffee! New and available only for a limited time at White Frog Cafe in the Stone House, that was built in 1913 the year the town was founded. White Frog Cafe has merged two legends from this era and created an exciting new product to celebrate 1913 Days and the Stone House! Try a free cup at the Outdoor Makers Market from 11am-3pm.
