Break it down at the ultimate 90’s themed yard party in Lakefront Park with throwback crafts and giant yard games. Wear your fanciest tie-dye, handmade friendship bracelets, tattoo chokers and join the fun! During the event, the community-made tile mosaic art piece will be unveiled - see if you can spot your hand-painted tiles made earlier in the year!

Lace up your skates or bring your scooters for a night out on the town! Snap a pic at the photo booth, play throwback arcade games, and groove to the music. Ticket includes a hot dog or burger with fries and an ice cream float. Be sure to wear your most neon 80's wear or grooviest 70's flares!

Eco Print Workshop

Work with nature and learn a new form of art - eco printing! This fun and versatile fiber art uses the plant's natural tannins to create unique prints on fabric or paper.

Join Dawn from The Boho Apothecary at White Frog Café to forage for plant matter and you work your creative magic making your own prints. Includes a light lunch and your choice of beverage courtesy of White Frog Café. You will leave with your own collection of natural prints! Outdoor event, limited spots, ages 9+. MYSTERY TOWNS SCAVENGER HUNT

Use your super sleuth skills and head out to explore downtown on a clue solving adventure to decipher the mystery of "The Lost Regatta." 

Using the Mystery Towns app as your guide, solve each riddle to find the next clue. It's a super fun way to engage with the town, its history, culture, and some secret spots you might have missed before. 

Take breaks during the game to enjoy the food, shopping, views, and festivities along the way. Great for ages 10+ and adult groups. For extra fun, challenge a second group to a race against the clock!

Fire Hall Pancake Breakfast


Start the day off right with a pancake breakfast served up by your local Sylvan Lake Fire Department! Volunteer fire fighters will be serving up a delicious breakfast from 7am - 11am. Stop by and say hi to Sparky, and fill up on a delicious meal that is sure to give you energy for a full weekend of 1913 Days fun! Breakfast provided by cash donation to the Sylvan Lake Fire Department

Soap Box Derby


It's all engines go at the Soap Box Derby! Bring your homemade soap box car and most aerodynamic helmet as you face off the headwind alongside fellow racers down the track. Soapbox cars will be available to try as well. Spectators can watch junior drivers put their creative, gravity-powered cars to the test!

1913 Days Parade

Everyone loves a parade! Gather along the parade route to watch floats decked out from every decade. The parade begins at 43 Street, heading west down 47 Avenue, turning north on 50 Street, and east onto Lakeshore Drive ending at 44 Street. Bring your candy bag to collect goodies!

Flocking to the summer resort town, Hallers danced the night away in the magical venue.  Throw it back to the 50's and 60's Varsity Hall era at the Senior's Varsity Hall Dinner and Dance! Ticket includes a live music performance and light meal served with meatballs, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and Ambrosia for dessert. Experience live music from popular band Silence In B'tween! Vintage Market and Auction


Calling all antiques treasure hunters! Head on down to the Vintage Market and Auction for a good ol' fashioned swap meet and artisan-made market. Celebrity auctioneer, Sheldon Smithers of Canadian Pickers will be on-site making appraisals and auctioning off items! Entry by donation to the food bank. Pre-registration is required to swap or vend.

Stop by for the Meet the Makers Outdoor Market in the yard at White Frog Cafe! Come and meet some of the talented makers who supply the White Frog Cafe gift shop in the historic Stone House with beautiful handmade local products. Vendors will have tables and tents set up where you can meet and speak with the makers. It's a wonderful place to pick up those one-of-a-kind items!

White Frog Cafe has also released their specialty Limited Edition 1913 bagged coffee! New and available only for a limited time at White Frog Cafe in the Stone House, that was built in 1913 the year the town was founded. White Frog Cafe has merged two legends from this era and created an exciting new product to celebrate 1913 Days and the Stone House! Try a free cup at the Outdoor Makers Market from 11am-3pm.
