Food and Art Walk | Saturday, September 7, 2024 | 4:00 – 8:30 PM
CulinART is back! Sylvan Lake's annual celebration of its rich culinary and art scene. Get a taste for the lake by trying the small bites, mini-meals, and cocktail samples from restaurants along 50 Street, Lakeshore Drive, and 46 Street. Sylvan Lake's downtown restaurants will show off their best bites and small sips for this highly-popular culinary & art walking tour experience on September 7!

Skip the line and pre-purchase your admission wristbands and culinary tickets by September 6.
Purchase entry wristbands and culinary tickets online here and pick up at the NexSource Center before the event.
Admission Wristbands:
- $5/adult
- $2/junior aged 12 and under.
Food tickets: Exchange tickets for culinary offerings
- $1/ticket. Tickets can be purchased individually or in bundles of 20.
During the event, tickets will be available at the event information booth on the Sylvan Lake Pier at Lakeshore Drive and 50 Street. Cash-only, ATMs available on site. Ticket sales will end at 8pm on September 7.
Walking Guides
Grab your CulinART Walking Guide with your ticket purchase! Fill up your Walking Guide with a signature from each restaurant when you try their culinary offering. Complete Walking Guides can be entered to win a great prize!
Submit complete Walking Guides to win prizes at:
- Event information booth on the Pier at Lakeshore Drive and 50 Street by 8pm on September 7
- NexSource Centre reception desk by noon September 10

Q: Can I purchase tickets online ahead of the event?
A: Absolutely! Tickets are available for purchase online until September 6
Q: I've purchased my tickets online. Where do I pick them up?
A: Pre-purchased entry wristbands and culinary tickets will be available for pickup at the ticket boot at the event site.
Q: How many tickets per sample?
A: This varies and is set by the restaurants. Generally, items are 2-5 tickets each.
Q: I just can't get enough! Will food tickets be available on site?
A: You bet! Visit the Event Information booth on the Pier at Lakehsore Drive and 50 Street and load up my friend. No judgement here! Tickets sales are available until 8:00 PM on September 7.
Q: I'm like SO into art. Will there be art for sale?
A: Artists totally have the option to vend! If you see something you love, just ask the artist if it's for sale.

Team Registration
Registration ends January 31st, 2026 at 11:30pm
Register Your Mixed Division Team Now!
- Mixed Division Teams must have an equal number of male and female paddlers (does not include steersperson/drummer)
- Teams consist of 8-10 paddlers, 1 steersperson, 1 drummer and up to 4 spares (maximum of 16).
- Participants must be at least 13 years of age as of January 31st of the given year.
Register Your Women's Division Team Now!
- Women's Division teams must consist of all female paddlers, but may have a male drummer and/or steersperson.
- Teams consist of 8-10 paddlers, 1 steersperson, 1 drummer and up to 4 spares (maximum of 16).
- Participants must be at least 13 years of age as of January 31st of the given year.
Register Your Open Division Team Now!
- Open Division teams have no restrictions on male to female ration.
- Teams consist of 8-10 paddlers, 1 steersperson, 1 drummer and up to 4 spares (maximum of 16).
- Participants must be at least 13 years of age as of January 31st of the given year.
Register Your Breast Cancer Division Team Now!
- Breast Cancer Division teams are reserved for BCS/ACS survivors. The drummer and steersperson does not have to be a BCS/ACS survivor.
- Teams consist of 8-10 paddlers, 1 steersperson, 1 drummer and up to 4 spares (maximum of 16).
- Participants must be at least 13 years of age as of January 31st of the given year.

Practice Times
Practice races will be held on Saturday, February 14. 30-minute practice slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be booked by the team captain immediately following registration.
Once registered, please contact us at recreation@sylvanlake.ca to book your slot.
Race Schedule
The race schedule will be determined once team registration has closed. Once created, the race schedule will be shared with the team captains.
