February 5th, 2026: The Ice Dragon Boat racing portion of the festival has been cancelled. While competitive racing won’t take place this year due to safety considerations, visitors can still enjoy family-friendly winter activities and experiences on Festival Street!

Winter Equipment Try It & Games | 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Alberta Sports Hall of Fame has winter equipment for you to try! Snowshoes, ice bikes, and more are available for you to take out for a spin!

The Jing Wo Cultural Association of Canada is back to ring in the Chinese New Year with a traditional Lion & Dragon Dance performance!

Round off the weekend with a spectacular fireworks show over the lakefront! Please note Lakefront Park will be closed for fireworks safety zone.
