Tourism Partnership Program

The Tourism Partnership Program (TPP) offers local tourism businesses a meaningful opportunity to actively engage in Sylvan Lake’s tourism initiatives and destination development strategies. Through collaboration, participants help shape memorable visitor experiences and contribute to the growth of Sylvan Lake as a vibrant year-round destination.

Delivered by the Town’s tourism department under the Visit Sylvan Lake visitor services umbrella, the program connects businesses with key resources including visitor information services, a destination website at VisitSylvanLake.ca, and active social media channels (@visitsylvanlake).

To participate, businesses must hold a valid license within their jurisdiction and operate within the tourism sector in Sylvan Lake. The program is free for businesses located within the Town of Sylvan Lake, and $65 annually for those in Lacombe or Red Deer Counties. The program officially launched in 2021 and currently has over 65 members.

If visitors to Sylvan Lake make up a significant share of your customers, then your business is operating in the tourism sector and you are eligible to join the TPP!

Your business may provide goods or services that visitors are looking for like fun things to do, places to stay, places to eat, souvenirs, supplies, or equipment to enjoy their trip.

This program is open to any licensed Sylvan Lake business operating in the tourism sector, as well as those in Red Deer and Lacombe Counties. Businesses must register online to join the TPP.
