“You can use the e-scooters to go places you can’t get to with a car. You go at a slower pace and really appreciate what’s around you,” says Isaac Ransom, Neuron’s Head of Corporate Affairs.
How to Ride
Getting started is simple:
- Download the Neuron app from the Apple Store or Google Play.
- Find an available scooter and scan the QR code.
- Follow the prompts—and you’re ready to ride!

- Unlock fee: $1.15
- Day rate: $0.35 per minute
- 3-Day Pass: $25
- Weekly Pass: $33
- Monthly Pass: $89
(Packages allow up to 90 minutes per day)
Where Can You Ride?
Neuron scooters use advanced geofencing technology to control speed and parking zones. They’re allowed on:
- Sidewalks
- Bike lanes
- Paved trails
- Roads with speed limits of 50 km/h or lower
“We see all kinds of riders, young and old. Many have mobility challenges, and scooters offer a great way to explore when walking or biking isn’t an option,” Ransom explains.
