Welcome to Sylvan Lake’s Coffee Trail where you can make your way through town, hitting coffee shops along the way. Grab you walking shoes or flipflops and hit the town’s caffeine fueled route. You’ll find an array of shops, each with its own fresh beans and atmosphere.



Sweet Home on the Lake

Sweet Home on the Lake is a magical spot that draws visitors from all over Alberta. Located off Lakeshore Drive, you can grab a coffee and sit on one of two cozy balconies overlooking the lake. Sample locally roasted espresso, hand crafted speciality drinks and baked goods. After, you can check out the locally grown grocery market, boutique and so much more.

Timber Coffee Company

Make your way to Timber Coffee Co. a big city coffee shop with small town charm. Huge windows invite you into a beautifully designed space where the coffee has the starring role. Roasts are handpicked from a range of roasters such as Red Deer’s Birdy and Edmonton’s Roasti. If you’re craving a treat, there’s a full range of baked goods and light lunch items for any palate.

Lakeshore Café

Tucked into a small corner of Lakeshore Drive, Lakeshore Café is a locally owned, where caffeine runs in the blood. Regular coffee drinks are on the menu, but adventurous drinkers can also sample Asian style coffee and dishes including teh Vietnamese-style Iced Coffee. With beans roasted in Calgary dubbed Rocket Fuel, an espresso at Lakeshore Café will keep you fueled for whatever adventure awaits.

White Frog Café

White Frog Cafe is one of Sylvan Lake’s coziest spots offering Colombian-grown and locally roasted blends. This coffeehouse and roastery inhabits one of Sylvan Lake’s oldest historical buildings, the old Stone House on 46 Street.

The coffee roasting machine is set up in the front of the shop and customers are encouraged to watch the roasting process and ask questions to owners Ronald and Kelly. Ronald was born and raised on the coffee farm in Colombia where the beans are grown and is always happy to share his knowledge of the entire coffee growing process.

Spill the Beans

Located beside and attached to The Baby Footprint in Sylvan Lake, Spill the Beans is one of the newest shops to join the local coffee culture. Birdy Coffee is the bean of choice at this spacious spot.

A well-stocked case of house-made pastries and breakfast or lunch eats greets you in this sleek café. Fresh baked breads, such as sourdough, focaccia, and bagels are used to create delicious sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. The café is fully licensed and family friendly!

Tim Hortons

You know its name for a reason, Tim Hortons is trusted across Canada because it delivers a piece of “Candiana” everywhere. From their double-double coffee to cappuccino, Tim Hortons is the comfort coffee of Canadians worldwide.
