Our Top Three Location Picks for a Perfect Photo

Our top three locations picks for a perfect photo

No trip is complete without a selfie or a family photo to commemorate a trip to the lake! We've made a shortlist of our three top spots to stop and grab your photo.

#1: The SYLVAN LAKE letter sign

Snap your pic with "Sylvan Lake" right in the photo! The SYLVAN LAKE sign is right on the pier by the lake and is a particularly great spot for larger groups to gather. Everyone can fit in the pic, and you'll never forget where you were when look back at it.

FIND IT: At Lakeshore Drive and 50 Street on the Sylvan Lake Pier

#2: 'Here Comes the Sun' mural by local artist Jaimie Cooney

This mural celebrates everything there is to love about the lake: the changing seasons, the lighthouse, sailing, the lake, sunshine, road trips, mermaids, music, and more! It's a collection of real and fantastical elements that show us exactly why 'Life is Better at the Lake!'

FIND IT: On 50 Street (also known as Centennial Street)

#3 The Sylvan Lake Lighthouse

Sylvan Lake's most iconic monument makes a perfect backdrop for a photo! The red and white lighthouse is the only in-land lighthouse between the Pacific Coast and Lake Winnipeg, and was originally modelled after the Peggy's Cove lighthouse in Nova Scotia. A shining symbol of the Sylvan Lake community, the lighthouse overlooks the lake and marina.
