So many reasons to tee off this Spring!

There’s plenty to offer golf enthusiasts from beginners to seasoned players, making Sylvan Lake the perfect hub for a golf getaway.

The area boasts four different courses and driving ranges all within just a 10-minute drive of Sylvan Lake. Clubs and courses welcome players of all skill levels but remain challenging enough to entertain more advanced players.

“People come for the lake, but you’ve also got a variety of courses within a half hour that are great. Golf in the Sylvan Lake area is a little less fast paced than the city,” said Al Norlin, Executive Professional at Alberta Springs Golf Course.

Sylvan Lake might be known for lakeside action, but here are a few reasons to golf here this summer.

Stay-and-Play

Sylvan Lake is a popular Central Alberta destination and it’s the perfect spot to escape the city for a quick round with friends. With a variety of accommodation options, Sylvan Lake is a great place to check-in for the night.

“We are a resort town with lots of recreation and golf is part of that, said Dean Dereniuk, Golf Operations Manager and Head Golf Professional at Meadowlands Golf Club. “Stay and play programs mean golfers can stay in the area and plan their entire vacation around golf.”

After a day of golf, take advantage of a local hotel stay-and-play package. Fit in an extra round without worrying about driving after that post-round beverage! If you need assistance with stay-and-play packages, connect with any of the local pro shops, who can assist in putting together group bookings or custom packages.
